A total of 200,000 disposable surgical masks, donated by SCAT Airlines from Kazakhstan, arrived at Sanya Phoenix International Airport on Feb 2 to help control the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Sanya.

The package - the first of its kind donated by a foreign airline company to Sanya - has also been supported by a local travel agency.

The Sanya culture, radio, television and tourism bureau has established a donation channel with the travel agency and SCAT Airlines to offer further support for the fight.
