Niliang village in Shangyu, Shaoxing city has a Red Cross service station, 65 Red Cross members and a volunteer team to facilitate the management of village affairs and people's livelihoods.

According to Ni Jianjun, Party head of the village, these members and volunteers are active participants of local activities, such as training courses on healthcare and artistic performances at weekends.

"We are upholding the spirit of humanity, compassion and dedication and we hope villagers could have a better understanding of the Red Cross spirit through the activities," said Ni.

Liang Yonglai, a 73-year-old veteran, signed his name on an organ donation document in Niliang village on Jan 7. Inspired by the village's voluntary vibes, he decided to donate his corneas. "I'd like to give out my care and love to make the world better," he said.
