Marbury feels the love back 'home'
"I share a lot of memories here," admitted Marbury.
Some videos on websites showed that before the morning's prematch practice, Marbury almost went to the home team locker room, where he was quite familiar as a player, before turning back to the visitors' locker room.
With the game time ticking into the final 10 seconds, and a gap still unable to bridge, Marbury called two timeouts.
"We fight until the end," Marbury explained his decision.
Never give up. This is Marbury's philosophy of basketball, and the message he wants to convey to his players.
After the game, Marbury went to give a warm hug to his former teammates Zhai Xiaochuan, Fang Shuo and Zhu Yanxi.
When he returned to the locker room through the tunnel, fans shouted "Marbury". He waved his hand in response.
"Love is love," Marbury often mentioned this in his interview on social media.
Tonight, in the familiar Wukesong, he felt it.
