Slackliners gather in Hunan for high-altitude performance
Ten slackline fans from China gathered in Changde, Central China's Hunan province, from June 10 to June 25 to give a wonderful high-altitude slackline performance above a reservoir located at Liuye Lake.
Slacklining refers to the act of walking or balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing that is tensioned between two anchors.
The organizer of this activity was a 20-year-old man named Yu Jinliang from Changde. "I was attracted by slacklining because of its connection with nature three years ago. From then on, I found a lot of friends who share the same feeling", Yu said.
Yu just took the college entrance examination and graduated from high school this summer. He said he wanted to celebrate his graduation with this special performance. He invited his slackliner friends and borrowed a drone to shoot an aerial image of the site.
