In the film, Morales and Parker collaborate with dimension-displaced Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham and Peni Parker who are also famous Marvel comics characters.

The production team uses several techniques to achieve the style of Marvel comics from the 1990s, making the audience feel like they are walking inside a comic book.
