Shanghai Disney recalls StellaLou toys
Shanghai International Theme Park Company Limited is recalling 4,650 StellaLou plush toys after it was found an ornamental button on the product could detach and pose a choking hazard for children under 3.
The company said on its website it will recall the batch of 13-inch toys produced between May 16 and 25. It also advised customers to keep children under 3 away from the toy.
The company made clear the affected toys were only available at stores in the Shanghai Disney Resort and Hongqiao Airport. Consumers can request a new version of the product or get a full refund before Feb 10, 2019.
The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision said on Nov 13 it has received a report from the company about its decision to recall the product
