Chinese Olympic champion Wu Dajing clocked 39.505 seconds to smash the world record and win the men's 500m race of the ISU Short Track World Cup in Salt Lake City on Sunday.
South Korea's Lim Hyo Jun and Chinese Hungarian Liu Shaoang finished second and third.
