Shao Fan's paintings to be exhibited in Suzhou

Beijing artist Shao Fan's paintings are often marked with a reserved touch and intellectual depth. His refined brushwork takes the viewer on a spiritual journey to solitude, serene world of scholars centuries back, and presents them a calm perspective on the current world.
Shao's approach to incorporating traditional Chinese aesthetics and philosophical views with the contemporary art practice will be on displayed at his solo exhibition, You, at Suzhou Museum from Nov 10 to Jan 13, 2019.
His paintings, sculptures and designs all together demonstrate an independent and objective point of view on the world.
