E-commerce platforms make honesty commitment

Ten e-commerce platforms, including Alibaba, JD, Suning and Meituan-Dianping, made a commitment in Beijing on Wednesday that they will never make or sell counterfeits, evade taxes, or induce, deceive or threaten consumers to modify their after-sale comments, according to a report by Chinanews.com.
The companies signed an e-commerce honesty convention and promised they will fight against false advertisements and fake sales, the report said.
