China to hold education innovation expo
BEIJING -- China will hold an annual education expo in November, highlighting innovation and inviting schools, companies, non-profit organizations, and individuals to participate, according to organizers of the event.
The 4th China Education Innovation Expo is scheduled to be held in the city of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, from Nov 12 to 15, featuring forums, displays, workshops, and progress announcements that involve more than 3,000 projects or programs.
Wang Shoujun, head of the organizing committee, said the expo, initiated by Beijing Normal University in 2015, has become a key platform for China's education sector to brainstorm new ideas and spread good educational approaches to schools across the country.
He said participants at this year's expo are expected to focus on ethical and moral upbringing, core skills development, Internet Plus and supply-side structural reforms in education.
