Chinese shares rebound on Tuesday

Chinese shares witnessed sharp surge on Tuesday after steep decline earlier.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 2.74 percent, closing at 2,779.37.
The Shenzhen Component Index picked up 2.98 percent, closing at 8,674.03.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 2.68 percent to 1,479.44 points.
