Then he began to donate blood regularly -- twice every six months, the minimum interval according to the Blood Donation Law.

Since 2004, Xu started donating blood platelets after learning that this approach would be more conducive for patients with blood diseases.

He also donates on a regular basis – once every 14 days, the minimum interval allowed.
