5-magnitude earthquake jolts Taiwan

BEIJING -- A 5-magnitude earthquake hit Nantou of Taiwan at 8:22 p.m. Saturday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 23.68 degrees north latitude and 120.69 degrees east longitude.
The quake struck at a depth of about 20 km.
